Colleen Mae Balinger was born on November 21 in 1986. Her Internet character Miranda Sings is her most famous. She has shared videos featuring her character on YouTube and has performed her one-woman comedy show in theatres all over the globe. In 2016, she also wrote and starred in Haters Back Off Haters Back Off, a Netflix original show about the character. Ballinger created the fun eccentric, egotistical, talentless character to laugh at the thousands of YouTube videos of singers who sing poorly in an attempt to gain entry into the show industry. Her YouTube channels, combined, have surpassed 5 billion views. Miranda Sings' channel has more subscribers than 10 million, with over 13 million TikTok followers, and 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger was awarded an Teen Choice Award for Web Star: Comedy and the Streamy Award for Best Actress. The actress was selected by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Top 25 Digital Stars and ranked in the top spot at No. 5 on Forbes magazine's list of 2017's influential entertainment personalities. Ballinger was an actor and singer on stage, television, recordings, and web-based series. She has appeared on Escape the Night (2018-2019), as Dawn in the Broadway musical Waitress (2019) and as a guest on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (2014). She was also a guest on The Tonight Show (2016-17). Selp-Helf (2015), and My Diarrhe (2018) were also bestsellers written by Ballinger in Miranda's voice. Erik Stocklin is her husband. Ballinger relocated to New York City in 2010 to pursue acting opportunities However, she went back to the West coast in 2012 when she realized that, to maximize her YouTube audience, she had to join forces with the YouTuber community in Los Angeles. After several years of dating, Ballinger married Joshua Evans in California in July 2015. In separate YouTube videos, Evans & Ballinger announced their divorcing plans in September of 2016.
