Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with 12 other kids. Her vivid imagination helped her escape from the harsh realities of everyday life. In the beginning, before she learned to compose or read the music she wrote herself, she created the music she composed herself. Within 8 years she acquired her first guitar. As a teenager, she began to sing on the radio station of Knoxville Tenn. In the same year she made her debut album for Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. As a student in high school, she made her name locally however she longed for a bigger stage. Her move to Nashville the day after graduating in 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for female performers for his show that was syndicated from the beginning. Parton began her career in 1966. She then joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Her departure from the show came, nevertheless, in 1974 when her solo albums, like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations. Following their break-up, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and it made it to No. In 1974, the song by Parton I Will Always Be Loved You was a hit at No.
