Lucy Liu is an American director, actress, and singer. Lucy Liu is a talented and attractive actress. There are many Asian actors aspired to be famous in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances in various popular television series her fame was boosted by joining the cast of the comedy legal series Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. The actress put her rapid fame into major screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. When she appeared in Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an excellent performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. At the same time, she also portrayed part in the leading roles of some movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she was able to start voicing characters from animated movies like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen characters was not able to achieve popularity. Southland's critically acclaimed series on police, Southland and a recurring performance helped Liu revive her career role as an actress. Liu is very cautious in making her choices so it doesn't result in her being typecast within a highly in-demand industry. Even though she's proud her background, she is determined to not allow that to limit her creativity.
